Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PriceSnap's mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by PriceSnap ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using PriceSnap, you represent that you meet this requirement.

1.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@pricesnap.app.

1.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit photos of content you do not have rights to
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service in ways that exceed normal human usage
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls

2. AI-Generated Price Estimates

PriceSnap provides price estimates for informational purposes only. All values generated by our AI are estimates based on available market data and should not be relied upon as professional appraisals, financial advice, or guarantees of value.

We make no warranty that estimates are accurate, complete, or current. Actual market values may differ materially from our estimates. Always verify values through multiple sources before making significant purchase, sale, or insurance decisions.

3. Subscription & Payments

3.1 Free Tier

The Service offers one free scan per day without a subscription. Additional features require a Premium subscription.

3.2 Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play on a monthly or annual basis. Pricing is displayed in-app before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

3.3 Free Trial

A 7-day free trial may be offered for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the subscription price. You may cancel any time.

3.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the applicable app store (Apple or Google) according to their own refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials in the Service are owned by PriceSnap or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By submitting photos and content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content for the purpose of providing the Service (including AI analysis).

5. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF PRICE ESTIMATES, AND UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE AVAILABILITY.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRICESNAP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING FINANCIAL LOSSES FROM RELIANCE ON PRICE ESTIMATES.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
